The Palm Jebel Ali project is progressing, with the first eight fronds expected to be site-ready by the first quarter of 2025, enabling the start of villa infrastructure and civil works.
Nakheel, the developer, awarded an AED 810 million contract for marine works, which includes dredging, land reclamation, beach profiling, and sand placement to support villa construction.
Additionally, work has begun on a new public access road connecting the project to Sheikh Zayed Road. Last year, over 700 Phase 1 frond villas were launched and sold out within hours.
The island, once completed, will span 13.4 km with 16 fronds, 91 km of beachfront, and is expected to accommodate around 35,000 families, making it twice the size of Palm Jumeirah. The homes are scheduled for handover in late 2026.
